Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and Seat Guests:
- Welcome guests upon arrival with a warm, friendly demeanor.
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus.
- Take Orders:
- Accurately take food and beverage orders from guests.
- Provide detailed information on menu items, including ingredients and dietary restrictions.
- Serve Food and Beverages:
- Deliver food and beverages to guests in a timely manner.
- Ensure orders are accurate and meet guests’ expectations.
- Attend to guests’ needs throughout the dining experience.
- Customer Service:
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests.
- Resolve any guest complaints or issues promptly and courteously.
- Ensure guest satisfaction by checking in periodically and offering additional services.
- Maintain Cleanliness:
- Keep tables and dining areas clean and organized.
- Reset tables for the next guests.
- Assist with cleaning duties as needed.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
- Assist fellow team members as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
- Experience:
- Previous experience as a waiter/waitress or in a customer service role preferred.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry items.
- Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
